Are kissing gourami and angelfish compatible. My dad told me if I pass the test and get my ham radio licence them he' ll buy me an aquarium. I not sure what size yet though.

They should be ok together, neither are total wimps and neither are real aggressive bullies either. Good luck on your test!

The angelfish can be a little pugnacious when it comes to fish smaller than it is, but kissing gouramis are usually pretty big when you get them. I've got an angel in with a pearl gourami right now, and they get along just fine, but they're both about the same size. The angelfish did like to chase one of the two Chinese algae eaters I also have, but the algae eaters have grown faster than the angelfish, so now everybody gets along.

yea thats actually pretty good, but sometimes the angel fish can be a bit nippy... but since you have two same size fish and the kissing gourami is usually like 12" so that would be pretty good since you have an aggressive gourami :-) o and u can try aquariumfish.net too

As far as I know, (and I used to have an aquarium), kissing gourami are freshwater fish and angelfish are saltwater fish. that would make them not compatible. I'd do some more research first, though.

Both fish types are slightly agressive. I would probably not put them together. If you decide to, be sure to buy substantially large gouramis and you have a 5+ gallon tank.

kissing gourami get large and nasty, and angelfish need a low pH and soft water, i personally would not do it but that doesnt mean it cantg be done, you just need alot of swinning room at least 36"

yes they're compatible, but make sure u get the same size , or they'll fight.
