Is it mind over body?? Basically off and on since I was b/w 7 and 9, I have had major issues with eating in public or eating in front of certain people...If I get in a situation where I have to eat in front of people that in a way intimidate me Like my boyfriends parents or a boss, I clam up and my body freaks out...I get extremely nauseous and I get sever upset stomach and I have to basically stay in the bathroom until we all leave...It's hurting my relationships with other people because they think that I'm doing this because I don't like them etc,etc... I hate having to deal with this.....What is wrong with me and my body????

Sounds like a social anxiety disorder with the possibilty of irritable bowel syndrome... talk with your doctor sweetie. Meds can help a lot of what you are suffering from...Good luck sweetie..

No doubt a psychological problem. Something must have happened around that age that you have blocked out the situation and now you are severely suffering from it. I would do a Journey to find out . Goggle The Journey by Brandon Bays- get the book it will tell you how to get in touch with your issue from the past. It works.

Hi, I suffered 20 years of my life like that. Social anxiety disorder.Please go see your Dr. There are many temporary , medicines on the market that will help you ,to never feel like that again.Sometimes our brains have a small chemical imbalance.A little of the right meds,you will feel GREAT! ( not drugged)

It's your nerves. Try some relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or counting backwards slowly from 100.
