NO! It was just to demonstrate how kids are so easily influenced and that they will do just about anything to fit in...leading up to weed...which is a gateway drug that leads other drugs.

I do not think people actually do that. It is a comercial on how stupid people can be and how you should not give in to those kinds of stupid things. PLEASE DO NOT TRY IT! It hurts!!!! I have not tried it but my dad had a leech on his lip and he said it hurt terribly. My teacher waited all night to see that commercial because we were doing a report on leeches and she saw some of the bad shows on MTV! She was all like "You guys watch that crap?" and we are all like "Yep" LOL

They were attempting to make a point of how kids who follow trends are stupid, but obviously - they didn't do a good job of it. It's not real. It was just...a bad drug commercial.

Yeah it is a new trend. It's called sliming. It's where teens take leeches and put them on every part of their body.

The second one is closer to the truth. It's about peer pressure, and the message is that people will do stupid, ridiculous things to themselves if they see other people doing it. (Drugs, alcohol, etc.)
