I'm taking the class now and its very rigorous. I took AP US history last year and AP Euro is a lot more work. There is much more material to cover in the same amount of time. It also gets pretty confusing when you have to learn about different countries at the same time and put it together. The class is great but you really have to put in the effort and keep up on your work.

Hope this helps

I took the two a protracted time in the past (we are speaking approximately mid-90s right here) and that i ought to declare AP history is plenty extra handy than AP Physics. i like history, too, only such as you. AP history interior reason person-friendly frequently for the reason which you in all probability have already been uncovered to a number of of the fabrics already. on the different hand, maximum scholars who take AP Physics are gaining awareness of the fabrics for the 1st time. A 2d attention right here, which some human beings point out, is the relative purposes you have in history as against physics. Physics isn't thoroughly math-based (you need to additionally comprehend the techniques), yet once you're extremely vulnerable in math and extra stable in writing, AP history is in all probability your area of expertise. Your workload is hard yet once you learn nicely you're able to do the two. yet once you opt to drop the extra durable classification, drop AP Physics. finally, what do you desire to substantial in in college??? in case you intend on a technology, math, or engineering field, take AP Physics. yet once you opt to connect a humanities substantial (history, poli sci, sociology) then take AP history.

Well...
It depends on who you are and your teacher. For myself, the CLASS was not hard, because the coursework is easy, and I love history. However, if you probably will face a heavy courseload, I would suggest you evaluate your interest in history. If you like history and are generally interested in it, then definitely take AP European History. Not only could you learn a lot, but colleges like to see students who apply themselves. It is important to work hard to pass the AP test. For myself, I studied the week before the exams, and I passed with a score of 4 on the exam. I would suggest that you dilligently take notes in class, participate fully and make yourself known and vocal, and study weekly. You will find you'll be well prepared for the class.

In short, AP European History for myself was not hard. Depending on who you are, it could be. However, the important thing is that it would be beneficial to challenge yourself with such a class if you are interested in Euro.

Depends on where, how familiar you are with the material. If you read your book, it shouldn't be too hard.
