I am on crutches and accidentally hit one against the front of one of our kitchen drawers. It scratched the wood. Anyway to fix this without having to replace it? (One of the screws on the crutch made the scratch). It looks like a cat got to it! Help is appreciated! Thanks

If you will take some bees wax and shave it into hot linseed oil about one third bees wax and two thirds linseed oil the resulting mixture is one of the very best wood polishes and reconditioners avalable. You would have to pay big bucks for the same thing in stores but this mix is as good as any if not better. all you add is 'elbow grease". Apply warm and keep rubbing the scratch will disapear.

It is not worth the effort to fix ... If it is a wood drawer with a finish.. Most often easier to replace. you can buy chit to lessen its uglyness but if you want it fixed buy a new one prob as cheap as some of the products recomended to you... Its not the whole drawer its just the face or panel.

They make crayons that you can use to cover the scratch and hide it. Get them at home improvement stores or a hardware store.
