I'm fairly new to tampons. I recently bought tampax pearl and when I tried them, I felt like they were too long and thick. I purchased regular size. Idk? What's the best tampon out there ladies? I'm not heavy during my period, but would like to know from other experiences =]

First and foremost it is best to try several different kinds until you find the one that feels comfortable to you. Tampax comes in several sizes and you can even buy them with the different sizes in one box. You also need to make sure you are not useing one with to high/light absorbancey for you... check the lables and inserts, and read directions to make sure you are putting it in right. Also inform yourself on the hazards of tampon use... like TSS. They put those kinds of things in the warning section and list symptoms on the inserts in the box. hope all works out for you!

Try using the "junior" or "slender" size ones. They will probably fit you better if you're new to tampons. I personally like the normal Tampax, but everyone has different preferences for brand. Also, it might take you a few tries to figure out exactly the right angle, etc. to insert the tampon, so don't get discouraged, you'll get the hang of it. Good luck!

You could try the compact ones to start out, they are a little thinner and shorter. They do take a bit of getting used to. I buy what is on sale, but I know that if I need serious protection for any length of time Tampax super plus will be the best one (I waitress and can't always run when I would like). They do start to feel less painful, but even after many years of use, I sometimes have to get a new one cause it is just uncomfortable!

If you're a small person, I suggest using the smaller kind and just replace them more often, they're a lot more comfortable. I can't wear a regular unless I'm really desperate or my flow is too strong that day. But do stick with the plastic applicator, they're a lot easier and more comfortable than the cardboard applicators.

Try tampons designed for teens. They are generally a bit smaller in size and may feel more comfortable.

The best tampon is the one that you feel comfortable using and seems to fit your body.
I like Playtex Beyond, but you have to try different ones to find the best one for you.

Tampax only. I used a generic brand once and it broke off inside. My GYN found it!! Horrible.

SUPER ob's.
You just have to get comfortable with placing them manually. Its a breeze as soon as you get your technique down.
STYLE ON....
