So CNN comes out and says Khalid Shayke Mohammed the "mastermind of 9/11" confesses to crimes he commited. CNN even said that they "interrogated" him by using a method that makes a person feel as if they are drowning. How can you believe he did it, when anyone in his case who is mistreated would confess to anything.

No, people are not stupid but many are ignorant.
People are not uneducated they are indoctrinated.

There are people that are either socialist leaning or outright socialists that work hard every day to make young people mistrust the American government. They will exaggerate any fault, spin any mis-step and out and out lie about your government to drive a wedge between you and the foundation of America.

They will deliberately divide us into groups by race, class or whatever so that you feel alienated and victimized. Then the keep telling you that a little more to the left will make your life much better. Social Security a step toward socialism. Welfare another step. Minimum wage laws another step. Government health care another step.

They don't want you to actually know what has happened to countries that have adopted socialism. Look! Look at european countries going broke. Look at the long lines for surgical proceedures in Canada. Look, will you? Turn off the propaganda and wake up. You live in the greatest country in the world. You live in the land of liberty. You are free to become as successful as you are willing to work toward.
Go ahead and persue happiness.

CNN SAID they used such a method. Is there proof? The fact that CNN said it isn't proof; I don't have to remind you of the American journalism establishment's less than stellar record regarding truth, do I?Dan Rather

So what you are saying is his plan to mistreat people by killing them was not cruel?

I think he will get over it. Besides, do you really believe he would have treated his prisoners any better? Me thinks not.

As for stupid. I have met plenty of "educated idiots" in my life.
Dumb is a matter of perspective. So go from there.

They believe it because they believed it before he confessed. The confession is just to tie up loose ends.

You show that you have no idea how waterboarding works. The whole point of interrogation is to mess with someone's head. Break that and you break them
