You can feed them letuce and small shrimp. Just throw the shrimp in there near their mouth and they will immediatly eat it. The lettuce they will eat during nighttime and once the water soaks in it and it becomes not soo hard.

I am going to assume these are Red-ear sliders- the most common turtle people buy on impulse.
These guys eat pretty much anything from a long list of good foods. Start with a good quality turtle pellet and live worms (especially bloodworms and other smaller species) while they are babies and add to the menu as they grow and you learn more.
Turtles won't eat if they are cold, either, so make sure the water in their tank is about 75-80 degrees F.
They also want space, so make sure there is about 10 gallons of water per inch of turtle shell length. Use a good filter to clean the water, and make sure you have good lighting.
Here is a GREAT article about your first turtle: http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/Articles/firstturtle.htm

if your turtles are land turtles, then you want to feed them fresh or frozen veggies, and maybe some meal worms but sparingly on the meal worms. they also like earth worms. cooked chicken cut in small pieces works well. you can also find food pellets at your local pet stor or dept store. if they are water turtles, then food pellets from your pet store work well as do small gold fish in a shallow dish use to feed the young turtles. hope this helps

it depends on what type of turtles you have too...but generally, Petsmart does sell a turtle pellet food that's made for babies, they're much smaller pieces. If you can't find that, try buying a regular turtle food and just cutting/smooshing it into smaller pieces.
you can also try small crickets, small mealworms, small pieces of grape, small pieces of greens, etc. as long as it's small enough to fit into the mouth, it should be ok.

What kind of turtles are they?
I would suggest going to your local pet shop and asking them or a veterinarian if you are unsure of the species.
You should be able to buy food at your local petstore.

we tried turtle food for ours and she just walked over it. So, we went to wal-mart and got canadian night crawlers in the sporting goods section. She loves them. She also likes lima beans.
