Which vid card would u say is better. A GeForce FX 5500 or an ATI Radeon 9250. Please support your answer dont just say the name. Trying to decide what to put in my comp. They are both PCI bus not PCI express. Just PCI

I have a 9250 which I've had for 2 years. It really struggles to play todays games, even with setting turned down low. The geforce has a core speed of 270 mhz vs the 9250's 240mhz. So the geforce should be a little faster. I dont know if it will be noticably faster. Good luck!

I would say the 9250 because it is closer to the Geforce 6200 than the FX5500.The 9250 is faster than the FX. DO NOT get the 3d Fuzion Geforce 6200.It fried my PSU and it didn't work from day one. Long story short RMA.

I would use the Geforce fx 5500 because I just remove a 9550ATI Radeon due to software conflicts with Roxio easy media creator.To buy a vedio card go to newegg.com and read the reviews of both vedio cards.
