how do you feel about women who don't dress their age? I know a lady who is 41 but dresses like a private school girl at 13. It makes me upset that she doesn't just embrace her age. Isn't "beauty at any age" the thing now? How do you feel when you see an older lady who is dressed like she is a teenager?

I'm a 37 year old, single mom. I wear age appropriate clothing when I'm in public. Now if I'm just hanging out, it's the normal uniform of tee shirt, jeans, and either tennis shoes or oxfords. Everyone knows my age. I don't lie about it, but there are clothes that I just won't wear, even in my section of the store, because I'm older, but not elderly. They need to stop trying to cram appliqued sweaters on all women over 35.

Plus I don't always act my age. I like to have fun, and sitting at home balancing a checkbook, and paying bills is not fun.

It depends how the older lady dresses.. nicely (in a teenage way) or horribly (trashy in a teenage way.. etc.). But if that elderly lady feels comfortable.. then let her wear it. And plus.. do you really know her? Her personality.. anything? So you're not one to judge her.

Girl I know what you are talking about!!!
I work in a Market and I see women all day trying to look young ,wearing clothes only young girls should be wearing, the ones that disgust me most are the ones who wear those tshirts that show their belly and you can see all their stretch marks from their pregnancy's or the ones who show off their Tramp stamp and the ink looks all faded or they wear No bra and their Booby's are almost touching their Belly button .
Women Please dress your age!!

Sometimes I think people should dress their age. Sometimes some people take it too far and it just looks nasty. On your last question, I think it's kind of sad when a grown women dresses that way.

Most of the time, it's disgusting. Like, just yesterday, there
was this woman (about 40--45), fat as a pig, wearing tight
spandex leotards, tank-top, tennis shoes, and EVERY one of
those disgusting rolls of fat on display for the world to see!!

Almost as disgusting are teenage girls dressed in baggy
clothes their gramma used to wear. I think that's UGLYYYY !!

Actually, I don't normally judge anyone on how they dress - young, old, punk, school girl. If she carries her schoolgirl look well, she can go for it. Who are we to be her judge or jury? Its a form of self-expression. Life is too short to not dress how we want.

It doesnt bother me. I think clothing should be fun and, as long as not too much SKIN is showing, then what you wear doesn't matter. Too much cleavage though on ANYONE is unsightly. Cleavage is SOMEWHAT acceptable on people 21-35. but other than too much skin, anything goes as far as clothing.

I have a friend that does this and she is in her 40's, We kinda get tickled at her...she thinks she's the ****..the Queen Diva within the group, and we allow her to do so.....if it makes her feel good, and youthful..........who cares.
