do you believe everybody has the right to the american dream?

Absolutely - for the most part that is why people from all over the globe come to this country. Despite the issues our country faces we still offer the freedom necessary to follow ones dreams. Anyone of us can follow our personal dream as long as we are willing to do what is necessary - hard work, commitment, honesty. Some might argue that illegal immigrants do not have the right to the American dream. I am against illegal immigration but I am sympathetic to the plight many face in their native countries...I just wish they would come here legally as my parent did when they came from Italy and as so many thousands of others have done. The irony today is that often it is the immigrants that work the hardest to achieve the dream...those born in this country sometime take things for granted.

Sure why not, everybody deserves the right to pay high taxes, receive little pay, have a government that does not represent them, fight in an illegal and immoral war and to watch American Idol twice a week.

I believe all citizens, whether they were born here or immigrated and became legal citizens, have the right to the American dream.

Nope! They ones who chose to take that god given right away from others (Murders, rapist and other kind of endured pain, sufferings etc...)
That is given the right at birth, earned as an adult and coming into ones country with the intent to honor, obey laws and up given that privilege when upon allowed stay.
In god and the government we trust, In the hopes man will give that word...
