I'm from Northern California and we just pronounce every syllable and we enunciate. People from other states don't do that.

what accent? there is no accent. it's like me asking ppl from Minnesota. why do you say pop instead of soda? or why the south states have this country accent? i think what your really trying to say is slang words and not accent.
