My Yahoo! Avatar Conspiricy Theory?

Question

Do you find it odd that most [not all; but clear majority] guy avatars on here have shaggy hair, & most girl avatars have long, straight hair?

Are there really that many guys with awesome shaggy hair & girls with long, perfectly straight hair? Because in real life, it seems like those, although desired hairstyles, aren't nearly as common as online.

Do you agree that for many its just wishful thinking as they make their avatar?

Does yours REALLY have your features?

Mine would have the long straight brown hair. Cause I actually have long layered straight brown hair haha. But unfortunatly I can't get it to show up.

yes my hair is half way down my back and straight as a board. I didn't know it was the prefered look but I guess it's good that I have it. I can't say that I like it so much myself but I don't trust hair stylist so I don't cut it much...
The only thing different is it is naturaly light to medium brown.
I just changed my avatar the other day to the red.. I may highlight it a shade of red.. So I'm trying the color out.. LOL..

Hair length-wise & bangs, yea, but mines a little longer. (Use to be long & straight down to my waist over a year ago, but got wacked -long story.) Eye color, yep. Female, yep. Not exact color hair, not exact eye shape or color, & pastey white skin though, etc. What do you want, they are cartoons! :0 :)))))!!!!
We could pay to upload our real pix but then how'd one stay anomynous? Plus, some people can get biased by looks & that'll bias how they read your answers. :) Pretty = less critical, ugly= more critical? Hey, it is stereotypical for some! :))))!
I remember back when Dan Baird had that song "I love you, period" playing on the radio. I had bought the CD & was listening to his music. My uncle came over & picked up the CD & said something along the line of, "Nocine, (-Ha!) you see the way he looks?" You know, with his face screwed up in "yuck." It's like some people will look at singers & like their songs more or be more open to liking them or disliking them based on their bias of their appearance. Did I explain that right? Then again, I'm the opposite type of person, since I liked his music, I looked at his pic less critical. :)
By the way, I liked alot of his songs on that CD. They had a cool, funky, fun beat! And the words were original & kinda cute, too. (That's what I thougt back then when I was YOUNGER, I'm more mature & my tastes are older, so I wouldn't listen today to some of the music I liked then.) :)*

My eyes are green, but my hair is long, wavy, and LIGHT brown with blonde highlights. Other than that, my avatar is TOTALLY different. I think people just let the way they wish they looked out through their avatars. It's actually not that bad. Don't rain on it.

Ha, good question. My hair is long, blond, and straight, and I do have a light tan. But, unlike my lovely avatar, I am 38 and not a teenager.

I dyed my hair white but the avatar hair colors in yahoo is limited.

I change my avatar as I change my look. My hair used to be long and red. Now it's short and black.
I guess some do create an avatar based on what they would like to look like, yes.

I don't know. maybe you're right, and it's wishful thinking. However the hair on my avatar is shorter than my real hair.

I really wanted my avatar to look like me but I could not find older womens' hair color or styles or oder woman glasses or anything....what to do? I tried my best to show my style but age I could not not show....sorry

Yep, my hair is almost black and is straight, but i cut it and now its short and i do have dark brown eyes.
