It depends on what's leaking from it. If it is to be repaired instead of replaced, it should be spot welded. In the event that is not feasible, a cold weld compound such as JB Weld or Liquid Steel is your next best option. Generally speaking however, these are not permanent repairs.

i own a shop and you can try bars leak if its in a water jacket,but if your running a thermostat in it,and it builds up pressure,it may pop it back out again,either that or make it open up worse on it,once they crack like this ,they usually will go farther so all you can do is try it,i don't think at this point you have anything to loose on that one,good luck i hope this helps.
