IS LYING OK IN SOME INSTANCES? WHEN? lying is ok when you know someone is going to get emotionally hurt if you don't lie.

ONCE TRUST IS BROKEN, CAN IT BE REGAINED? HOW? trust can definitely be regained. there is no specific way... usually it's through time.
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOU CAN TRUST SOMEONE? yeah, it's kind of hard to explain... i guess i just have to get to know them well. and i have to know their character.
WHAT RISKS ARE INVOLVED WITH BEING HONEST? i don't think there are any risks...

IS LYING OK IN SOME INSTANCES? - Its hard to say it, but yes, in some instances its necessary.
WHEN? - Well, it would depend on the scenario, but for example, when you have to protect someone, from either another person who´s out to harm them or when you have to protect someone´s feelings.
DO YOU BELIEVE WE SHOULD ALWAYS START OFF TRUSTING PEOPLE AND ONLY STOP TRUSTING IF THEY PROVE THEY'RE NOT TRUSTWORTHY? - I cant speak for everyone, but just in my personal opinion, i think we should start off neutral actually, cuz i believe trust is something that must be earned, but that doesnt mean you shouldnt give them a fighting chance at the start, you should just be a little cautious, and if with time that person proves themselves to be trustworthy, then you can give them your trust...and if not, then you wouldnt have felt betrayed cuz you were only being neutral before...if that makes any sense.
ONCE TRUST IS BROKEN, CAN IT BE REGAINED? - Sometimes.
HOW? - If this person who broke your trust truely, sincerely wants to have your trust back and would be willing to fight for it and then actually goes and does just that....then maybe with time, it can be regained. Although if that trust would ever be like it was before, i dont know, it would really depend alot on the other persons capacity to forgive and understand and not feel hurt... and mostly on what act broke their trust in the first place.
HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN YOU CAN TRUST SOMEONE? - When they are honest with me, all the time.
WHAT RISKS ARE INVOLVED WITH BEING HONEST? - You might end up hurting someone´s feelings by telling them the truth.
WHAT CAN YOU DO TO EARN THE TRUST OF ANOTHER PERSON? - That would depend on that person. Some people just want honesty no matter what, and others want loyalty, some just need to know that this other person has got their back...and different things like that, it just really depends on the person.

Lying is never ok.. but in some instances it might be needed
No.. I believe you should never trust anybody because the ones closest to you are the ones that end up hurting you the worst
Yes it can be regained.. it just comes back eventually
Some people can hate you for telling the truth even though thats the best thing you can do
Be the most honest person you can be..

Nice questions - but yelling (all CAPS) is not a good idea!
Lying is acceptable if the truth would harm another (within the law). Like White Lies!
Trust all until they are unworthy.
Never trust another if they have lost your trust. Unless you are married to them - then only 1 second chance.
Trust only family - once! All others - at your own peril.
Honestly, I don't know!
You can lose everything!
Be totally honest with them! Especially if they are family or related by marriage.

I don't think you should lie about anything, because eventually it all comes out.
I believe they have to earn my trust. and the only one you should trust is yourself.
once a trust is broken it could be regained but it won't be easy with me.
I don't know when I can trust anyone

my opinion if that person wants to trust you its all up to them.you can't make a person trust you.

it is ok to lie in some cases...white lies never hurt anyone...if the truth will devastate a person than maybe it's best for them to find it out on their own and not from someone else
you can't just automatically trust someone..you have to build trust..if they prove themselves untrustworthy then it'll be a looong time before you can regain that trust

1. yes, to little children to protect their innocence. like telling them babies come out of the stomach and such things as this.
2. no. trust is acquired, not given.
3. it can, if they can demonstrate for a long time that they really are trustworthy
4. when i can tell them something and know they won't yell it to the world. if they will be there for me no matter what..
5. you can hurt some one, because sometimes the truth hurts.
6. know how to keep a secret and just always be there for them
