A jobber is someone who loses each week and pretty much all the time. Barry Horowitz and the Brooklyn Brawler are probably the most known jobbers of all time. Al Snow made the JOB Squad for the same reason, pin me, pay me basically. They do the job (lose) because that is their job. These days I guess someone like Eugene or Jim Duggan could be classified as a jobber.

A jobber for lack of a better word is a scrub that comes out every week and looses to help get someone else over. Val Venus and Viscera are good examples of that. A good jobber will actually have a more secure job then some of the top talent because they know how to make others look good.

Jobbers are people more than likely to lose 99% of the time. Steven Richards is a great example of a jobber. Brooklyn Brawler was a major jobber, and Shannon Moore's become one.

Inside lingo basically.

A wrestler who is booked to lose is referred to as "Doing the Job" the "Job" meaning taking the loss.

A "Jobber" is a wrestler known for nothing but taking losses. In a related note, a wrestler who actually wins sometimes but loses in order to elevate someone else (Carlito and Randy Orton are in this mold now it seems) is referred to as a "Jobber to the stars"

Jobbers are the guys that are used usually to get someone over. Majority of the time they lose all their matches.

It means a wrestler who always loses. Like Funaki, or Val Venis, or Eugene, they RARELY win a match. One of the most popular jobbers was Barry Horowitz, he finally won a match in WCW in the mid 90s and they celebrated it.

Jobbers' jobs are to lose most matches, and it's their job to make the superstars look good.

They're people trying out on shows, usually on Velocity or Heat. They're usually rookies, but sometimes they're from somewhere else. For exampl;e, on ECW one night, it was Marcus Cor Van vs Cassidy Riley, and Riley was a TNA superstar. So its just anyone from anywhere who wants to be in WWE.
