I am going to a technical school at High Tech Institute for medical billing and coding.I to go to school for Top Reimbursement Services Executive.

If the associates degree was from an accredited college, and all credits are transferable, you will be a first semester Junior. You need to check with a counselor to see what will be accepted. Sometimes when you switch fields, they will only take general education required courses for transfer, and put as many of your other classes into free electives. You may or may not be able to get all of them accounted for. I am sure you will have some that will transfer no problem, but you need to check the schools policy, and which classes match your new major. Definitely talk to a career coundelor. They will be able to tell you what to expect.

no. all it really does for you is keep you from having to retake 101 & 201 classes that don't transfer to the 4 year college
