it was 5 children & it the sand fairy was a psammiad.just bought the dvd remake with eddie izzard as the voice of the psammiad,its very good.

is was the psameyad (spelled very bady) he was ever so cute, with his poorly whisker and when he used to grant them a wish he used to look like he was having a poo!

im so glad you asked this because it has driven me crazy for years....i think it may of been something like the psamyad?????? but probably totaly wrong... but it was really creepy looking!
