Living in Calgary Canada: Can i live OK with $2000 dollars a month?

I´m going to share apartment with friend or 2 so we´ll split rent.

yes. I live 1 from Calgary. I am a single mom with a child and here we live we pay less rent (in a smaller town rent is cheaper). We live on about 2000 a month with all our rent and bills and groceries and vehicle. We do well

It'll be close..... I have a son living in Edmonton sharing apt costs with a bit more than that, and it is (he says) tight, but manageable.
