My last period was on the 3-2-07 and I know im pregnant, I had a hcg test 2 days ago and it was 639, my periods are eregular and im not sure when i ovulated as day 14 never realy is day 14 for me. Can anyone tell me roughly how far along I am in the preg going by the hcg level? I have had an ultra sound but the doc says that all they see is the sack at this stage. My 1st hormone test was 58 so im pretty sure the baby is still growing ok.........Thank you and congrats to all the woman expecting within the next year.....

You are 51/2 weeks.
What the do is go back to your last period add 7 days. The levels 639 also would be around 5 to 6 weeks.
Congrats hun

well i do not know but at my 6 week ultra sound to see how far along i was they could see the baby it was just a small dot but they could see it along with everything else. So i would say less than 6 weeks, they couldnt give you any idea?
Good luck, Therer have been cases where a sac formed but not a baby and your hcg levels would still elevate, this happened to my friend, so go back in a few weeks for another u/s to confirm. Good luck

You can always do search for hcg levels, but from personal experience by the number its hard to tell cause they flucuate in the thousands. For now your doctor will probably calcuale how far you are by the first day of your last period, and may sceduale you to go in for an ultrasound to know forsure. And there will be no second guessing once that is done.

I was 100 at 4 weeks from 1st day of last period. 2 days later I was 300. You are supposed to double every 2 days. I believe you should be 5 weeks. Maybe 5 1/2 weeks. If you were anymore they would have seen baby... Good luck and keep me informed!!!

you could be a month or month and a couple of days or just a couple of days. some times you can have a period after you be come pregnant and sometimes maybe a couple of periods even doctors and machines are wrong only you can know go by the last time you had sex before your last period not the one on 3-2-07 remember humans arn't 100% always wright only god is

the hcg levels are basically supposed to double every couple of days or so they are not really accurate at determining the term of pregnancy as all pregnancys are different and mine sky rocketed as they should by 8 weeks we were able to see the trunk''head'' and body on a u/s allthough it looked like a blob really it measured accurately for the date of my last missed period which is a lot more accurate even if you are irregular it is just an estimate anyway the baby will come when he/ she is ready congrats!!

You may have to wait until a later ultrasound in order to be accurate. Usually one done around 14 weeks will be the most accurate, but the 20 week ultrasound will also be more accurate than the first day of your last period method.

I dont see how you can be pregnant when your last period was 14 days ago unless it was implantation bleeding and not a period. You are most likely only like 4 weeks pregnant. What did your doctor say? GOOD LUCK

I don't understand how they could know that soon either unless your 3/2 period was not a regular period. That seems like way too soon I would think they would want you to miss your April period before they would even begin testing... Good Luck!!

Congrats! Your pregnancy duration is judged by the first day of your last period. It does sound as if you are in your first month of pregnancy as the hcg levels are still low, they will jump very soon.
