I don't think that is a good idea. When you stop eating your body goes into stravation mode and your metabolism slows down tremendously. So when you do eat it will turn into fat more easily because your body wants to store fat for when you start starving it again. It works much better and is healthier to just start eating healtheir foods in smaller portions, but at more frequent intervals( every 3 hours eat a healthy snack). This will actually speed your metabolism up.

That will help but you have to get off of your toushy and do some exercising as well. A good workout tape that you pretty much do in place is by Leslie Sansone and is called Walking Away the Pounds. There is a 1, 2, and 3 mile walk. You will get a good workout from them. I do one of the 3 everyday and feel so good afterwards. I have also recently lost 40 pounds!

Good luck!

umm i don't know if i would recommend drastically cutting food portions..what worked best for me was to make all the protions on my plate no bigger than my hand when i make a fist and eating one thing from each food group, like a few peaches, a little bit of cottage cheese, a little bit of meat, a little bit of potatoes and a glass of either water or milk..you will feel full b/c you've had a lot to eat but not so much you feel stuffed....best of luck

Yes, cut your calories to no less than 1200 or 1500 calories per day and start exercising. You'll lose weight.

The best way is to regulate and change one's diet and the portions need not be cut. Supplementing this with proper exercise is ideal. Increase in the water intake with the two above takes care of most of it.

Of course you can, but you'll gain it all back and more.

Weight loss requires a combination of dietary adjustments and exercise. Otherwise, it is not sustainable.

Yes, most definitely. Also add exercise to your diet. I lost 50 pounds and have kept it off. It's a lifestyle, so that is something you always have to do.
