3 weeks ago I gave birth to my fourth child via C-Section. My other 3 children were delivered the same way. Immediately following the C-Section, my doctor performed a Tubal Ligation. After the baby and I came home, I noticed some slight bruising on my abdomen, but the bruising has gotten worse and is black and dark purple. It is also very painful to the touch and certain ways I move make it hurt as well. Is this normal??? Also, is the bruising caused by the C-Section or the Tubal Ligation?

I had a C section with bruising and 7 yrs later had the TL with bruising. I had extra body fat (always have) and yes there is bruising and tenderness but it does go away. Just do what the Dr says, keep an eye on the sutures and keep the area clean, you should do fine. I give you credit for having 4 kids C-sect. You should do fine as long as you follow Dr.'s orders.
Congrats on your new family member!

My recommendation is to talk to your doctor. I have never had a c-section but I have had a tubal ligation and I had little to no bruising but mine was done laproscopically (sp?). I just had 2 little x's on my abdomin. I would imagine that the bruising is from the c-section, that is serious surgery.

Call the soctor, let him/her know what is going on and see what they say!

Best of luck,

Jennifer

I had 4 c-sections, a tubal performed after the 4th transport. wellbeing center stay is the same till issues upward thrust up from the transport. think of of it like this, a tubal isn't something whilst in comparison with a c-section. i grow to be in so plenty extra soreness after this one, so ascertain you relax extra and don't overdo.
