I say if it's outdoors..screw em'. Let them complain. I don't smoke anymore but when I did remember getting annoyed by that crap. If its an indoor setting or you know that smoking is prohibited then don't do it, but if not, the hell with it, puff one down.

i will. i hate when smokers stand close to entrances like at the mall or hospital and just light it up. i understand that they put the chairs close to the doors, but i don't want to walk through a smoke cloud to get where im going.
now that im pregnant i can smell it a mile away. i even smell people smoking while sitting in a car at a red light. it doesn't smell good.
i think a lot of times smokers don't think of others. like smoking at a park, which i don't even know if you can do now-a-days. or smoking at the football stadium. you know just because you sat outside doesn't mean they were wrong to ask you to put it out. non-smokers shouldn't have to eat inside because of smokers. maybe it would be different if smoking was safe, and more people did it, then not.

In general people have not only become very rude they are very demanding and seem to forget everyone has rights.
If you were in a permitted smoking section then it is they that
should of moved......unless you noted the smoke blowing right in their faces which permitted or not would be rude even to other smokers.
Over all our actions should have more to do with being considerate of others than for the sake of inforcing the rule.

Hello,
I agree- I have never smoked in my life- Mostly all around me do and I find the worse complainer or from the reformed Nu smoker!
All I ask is that they re frame from blowing smoke around my face, not in the home or around children and please put butts in can outside.
And most to the one I love use mouth wash after smoke or before I kiss.
I will say none of the smoker NEVER ONCE told me off for this choice I have asked.
Thank you

Yes, but only if they have come into a non-smoking area where my son and I were first. I don't care if im on my own but I wont allow anyone to smoke near my son.
