If you are a friend you will get your friend to the hodspital or call an ambulance if it is an emergency. Getting caught drinking is only a secondary concern. Do what is right as soon as possible. After that is taken care of THEN worry about your own @ss. Never risk a friends health or well being just to avoid trouble. Sometimes you have to just grow up, and take what you have coming. It was an unwritten rule while I was growing up. I got a licking and was grounded more than once because things hit the point where they got outta hand and I knew it was time to get help regardless of what happened to me. It might be hard to take your medicine, but at least you have the consolation that by doing so you will have earned the respect of everyone who knows. Your friend will certainly be happy knowing you never left him or her to possibly die.

A real friend would have got help for the friend. It is also against the law to not call for medical help, when you know someone clearly needs medical attention. Being caught drinking, should be have been the least of your worries, your friends medical attention help should have come first.

If your friend clearly needs medical attention, that trumps your desire to not get caught drinking. Is your "clean" record worth more than your friend's life? If so, you're not much of a friend. If your friend needs a doctor, call 911 -- and when asked why he's in that condition, admit that the two of you were drinking. Possibly saving a life is worth whatever trouble you would be in.

Uh, if he/she needs medical attention - if you think he is really in danger - then you need to get him/her medical attention. Which is worse - getting caught drinking or having a friend injured or dead?

Call the medics and clear the crowd. If you can find a room for the person to rest, put him there and wait. After that, you can leave the party.
