We collected about a ton of beads at Mardi Gras and we threw them to all the wedding guests. More fun.

Rice, We got married in a park next to a beautiful lake. My Cousin organized the whole wedding and everyone through rice and had little bubble blowers in the shape of champagne bottles. I had my hair in little curls on top of my head and she poured a whole packet in my hair! later that night in the hotel room there was rice EVERYWHERE lol

Nothing. It is forbidden to throw rice or anything else at the Church. I threw my bouquet at the reception and my hubby threw a glass of water...and my leg thingy (I forgot the name just now)

Nothing. Had a very very very small wedding (preacher, my very ill adopted mama and daddy, preacher's wife and us.) His parents didn't even come. Didn't want to waste a trip on a marriage that wouldn't work, so they said. 8 years ago.

Vomit. All of my husband's wild cousins got together out in the parking lot at the reception and drank. But by the time things got really bad we were already gone.

Nothing, we supplied mini bottles of bubbles to blow instead so that we didn't get hit by rice and lose an eye.
