If by "band" drummer, you mean a marching band, then I have no clue. My favorite drummer in a music group, is "The Rev" of Avenged Sevenfold.

i would have to agree with raymond, neal peart, hands down.
second place would have to be rick allen from def lep. i mean, come on, the dude only has one arm and he is better than a lot of people that have two.
