standard ziploc bag - 1 qt i think it is....
portions MUST be 3oz or less
as for the perfume and hairspray.... get travel size ones and then pick up full sized bottles if you really need them at the duty free. take additional baggies so when you send it home you can putit in your checked luggage.

i understand why you want your own makeup with you.... there is often lost luggage and it's a comfort factor especilly since they don't always have the same stuff. however you can also check the duty free shops in chicago - they are really something now. they have the estee, clinique, etc make up's, skin care -all of it -in the smaller approved sizes. you used to only be able to get them at the counters when they had freevbies but now the duty free sells those sizes.

call LOT or whatever airline you're taking to see what you're allowed to take with you on the plane. hairspray and perfume or any kind of aerosol is a definite NO-NO though. the best thing to do is pack it in your checked luggage and then do a quick touch-up in the airport bathroom once you get there. if you're worried about looking like you just spent 10 hellish hours on a plane from chicago to poland, just make sure you take a good hat and a big pair of sunglasses with you!

Ohare's security is still a little tough to go through but if you put all those things in your luggage then you will be fine. You cannot have any liquids in your carry-on (including makeup). Good luck!

If you have a problem about what you can take aboard a plane, you have to ask the airline people or O'Hare security. It does not really matter, what the plane's destination is (except for Israel, perhaps), the security measures are applied by local airport authorities.

Saftest thing to do is put it in your checked luggage, but if you really need it on the plane then check your airports website for restictions on liquids. You will most likely have to have a clear plastic bag that you put all those things in.

You should go to the airport web site and see what you're allowed to have in the carry on ,other wise everything must be checked.
