My fave with a big group:

Everyone sits in a circle. One person is on the center (there is no chair for this person, like musical chairs.) The person in the middle says something like "Everyone who has ever gone camping" or "everyone who has at least three living grandparents." All those to whom that description applies must get up and dash to another vacant seat, and the person in the middle tries to grab a free seat as well. The person left over without a chair now does the same thing. It's fun to run around like crazy and bump into people, and you learn a lot of things about each other.

Have a good time! Can I come?

:)

Well here is something I did in the past when I had a mixed gender party.. Take a large canvas (or u can just use a white wall) and get poster paints of primary colours. Be the first to do this before your guests arrive... put up your hand print, write 'welcome everyone!' and ad the date.
Each guest comes in and ads their handprint... a lot of art happened that night... and some got clever with other body parts!!!

Have fun!!!

get some pizza and drinks, turn on a movie that everyone might enjoy, and get ready a game that every can be a part of and get along in. Ex: drawing on a paper and guessing what it is, or card games are always good.
