But isn't AZ already three hours behind say NY. So it is 3 in NY. So would that make it 12, or 11 in AZ?

Some states do not use it. I can't remember the states right now though. I think Arizona maybe. If your just heading through the state no it won't mess anything up. If your staying in that stay you will be 1 hour behind where you left from. LOL good question.

Arizona (except some Indian Reservations), Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa have chosen not to observe Daylight Saving Time. This choice does make sense for the areas closer to the equator because the days are more consistent in length throughout the year.

In my state, we are able to decide out. that's my be attentive to-how that some counties are 2 hours off from organic daylight hours hours whilst observing daylight hours savings time. I wrote to the governor of my state approximately it and he says that's good for commerce using fact we are in sync with the states that have continuously mentioned it.

I think Arizona, for one, doesn't using Daylight Saving time.

But it shouldn't mess you up if you are traveling, just like if you are flying from NY to CA, there are time differences, and somehow most of us are able to figure out what time to tell our friends to pick us up at the airport.

Now where is my ride? I've been waiting for two hours!

Arizona doesnt use DST, and how would it mees things up for the train? It would be just like a plane going from one time zone to another.

That's a map that shows all the places that don't have it. I lived in a place that didn't have it. Certain places smack dab in the center of the US don't use it. Now I live in a place that does have it. With experience in both with and without, I personally think it's stupid as hell. It's only an hour. We should go without using it at all.
