Special Day Class. They can be further described by the students they teach such as SDC-LH (Learning Handicapped) or SDC-DD (Developmentally Disabled), for example.

Special Day Class.
This is a classroom where the students spend most of there day, rather than other methods of special ed such as recieveing specifc lessons by "pulling-out" students from their generel education classroom. Still I have seen students leave their SDC class from specific subjects, but mainly this is their classroom.
