tax cut=deficit=weak dollar=higher cost of importing oil=higher gasoline prices. This money goes to oil companies and to Saudia Arabia, Iran etc. The U.S. treasury is robbed. No conservative or liberal likes this. Only a dupe would. Are you one? Or are you on to our Bush league president?

There is little doubt that Bush & Co. support their big oil corporate buddies and their windfall profits on the back of the average citizen.

The Veteran issues are another thing altogether.

As a disabled Navy Veteran discharged in 1992, I can tell you that these issues are neither new or related specifically to the Bush administration.

The policies and funding levels that have created the broken system of care that kept me away from VA medical care for the past 12 years.

The disability guidelines that the services follow have always seemed to put most of the disabled out of the military at 10 or 20% denying lifetime benefits to many that deserve the medical retirement. This happens even when they pretty well know that a condition is likely to worsen over time.

Spinal injuries are diagnosed as spondylosis after fusion and automatically get a 20% rating, for example.

The VA has been under funded every year that I am aware of. This had resulted in a chronically broken system, meaning nearly intolerable waiting times for even scheduled appointments.

To be fair some progress has been made with this of late. My physical to get me re-entered into the VA system took less than 2 hours from start to finish, including taking blood work and getting a chest X-ray. The same would have taken at least 8 or 9 hours, if not multiple days in 1995.

The lapses in the VA that have resulted in veterans compromising 20% of our Nation's homeless have gone on for many years and have been supported by both political parties.

Both parties have enjoyed the majority at different times, but there is still no simple legislation Mandating full funding of the VA and our Veteran's programs. Both parties use the funding bills as favors. They seem to be able to be able to provide the oversight necessary to keep close tabs on political favors owed to and by them, but both parties are surprised and outraged at this old news?

PLease!

Time to clean House. (ok little pun) They all need to go. With few exceptions, they have all been incorrigibly corrupted by the system that has produced them. The most senior and the most corrupt train the incoming freshman in "Washington Politics". Sadly it is all they know.

In a few election cycles we could rid ourselves of this disease only by removing all but a very few of the incumbents from office. Any candidate that takes PAC money or corporate "donations" knows that these are just payday advance loans for future legislative considerations. They have sold out and should be removed. Republican, Democrat, or Independent.

You must live in China or some third world African country, or you've never seen how it is over in those place. If you had, you'd shut up, get a job and help keep what we've got. As it is, I'm going to assume you're too good to work and can only sit around and ***** about how terrible everything is. Nice. Get a life ... better yet ... run for office and do a better job than that last guy.

Here we go. The onslaught of cons saying it's all the Democrats fault.

"You did it! Nuh uh, you did it!"
