I feel guilty about being here tonight,but my alternative would be the bottom of a bottle of scotch.I was gonna post this in marriage and relationships,but I know better people are right here in P&S.I have 3 boys,15,14,11,and I am trying to be strong for them,I am staying on the P*S tonight,rather than sit in a stunned silence and let my boys watch me break down.Will you p-lease pray for my strength and for my boys burden to be lightened a little?? Hey Fatboy, I'm feeling your pain tonight. I've been married to an addict for almost 11 yrs. We have two beautiful sons. I have tried to leave so many times and I have been to hell and back with the courts trying to make it so he can't see the boys without supervision. He has threatened to take them from me if I leave. So for now until my boys are old enough to speak on their own behalf in court, I stay. I understand how you are feeling after kids and marriage and all that... even spouses that hate each other can still have strong feelings. I have attempted the divorce thing twice with my husband once for 6 months and the second almost 8 months. I know how all the feelings get swished around you head and heart and how everything feels like it is spinning out of control. Take care of yourself and your sons....you and me gotta stay strong for our kids sake. I know how hard it is, and sometimes when the kids go to bed I stay up late with my good friend Jack Daniels and the awesome people on P&S. It helps keep my mind busy. If ya ever wanna talk just drop me a line any time. No i have never been married...and i won't say that i know hat you are going through...but i just kinda understand how much pain you are going through....i will pray for you and for your strength...and for your boys too...
search for the strength inside you...you kno it is somewhere inside...find it and fight for your and your sons' happiness...stand firm and fight!

I am going through a divorce right now and I am in a HUGE custody battle for my three year old son.

things will get better...i left my ex almost 4 years ago and then met the most amazing man who fell in love with me AND my 2 boys, we got married and he is basically raising them cause their dad is a POS.
