Sims 2 building garage question.?

How do you do a horizontal garage?

I've read up on it but its so confusing. I need an easy way I got a plan for a house I want to do, but the garage would look good sideways like the plan and not just vertical. Help????

Unfortunately you can't build a nice garage sideways. Well, you can but it won't be useable. The game only allows for the vertical version.

To build a garage you'll need to build the driveway first. Make sure you have room on your lot for the entire driveway, including the part that's in the road. You'll need enough room for the cars to enter and exit the driveway. From there, once you lay the first piece of the driveway, you'll be able to add a second piece, where the garage will go around. Then just build the garage around that piece and add a door.
