You have to just be lucky. CAUTION: THIS WONT WORK but it did happen to me. I dropped my GBA on accident and my cartridge fell out. and of course, the GBA made the horrible screeching sound. So i turned it off and back on, and the first thing i found was a SHINY TENTACOOL. and this doesnt mean that if the same thing happens to you, it will work. there is a 1/8192 chance of finding a shiny in the wild

There is no specific way to get shiny pokemon. You have a very low chance of seeing a discolored pokemon every time you encounter a pokemon. If you ever see one, try to catch it as many people go through entire games never even seeing a shiny pokemon, let alone catch one. It can be very frustrating trying to find one over a normal colored pokemon, so just let it happen
