Does anyone remember Labi Siffre's beautiful anti-apartheid anthem, 'Something Inside So Strong'? It was a beautiful, deep, heartfelt protest song about injustice.

Am I the only person here who was highly unimpressed with this song being used in a tv advertisement for some crappy car or other?

yes I do, now that really was a disgrace. Same with that 'gimme yop, mi mama' ad for yop yogurt. Yes its funny to watch and the wordplay was smart. but they killed eddy grant's Gimme Hope Johanna to do it! Which was also a greatprotest song about apartheid as Im sure u already know.

You've got to wonder who gives the permission for the song to be used in the first place, these people must have no souls.
