Providing you are runnign WindowsXP. Right click on the desktop and go to properties. In the Display properties click on the Setting Tab and you should see screen resolution in there.

You can check through like this your resolution

In your Desktop screen Right click the mouse,goto properties,the display property windows can open. In that goto settings there you can able to see the resolution of the you computer.

This is the one of the way to findout the screen resolution of the computer in easy method.
