Sgood one can be found @ a local family owned music store..I find that they offer good deals, but if u want a chepone, get a "first-act" brand one from Wal-mart, it has a decent sound and is great for a first time guitar, you dont need to spend a fortune on a guiter that your not sure youll want to play alot. Just try it out..A first act was a great first guitar for me, then i got a gibson. Gibsons are alllott more expensive though. I think its great that you want to learn to play=) best of luck to ya!

go to guitarcenter.com There is a Epiphone Les Paul Jr. that costs $100. it's a great guitar for starters. The guitar is normal size so don't worry about Jr being in the name. you should go check it out

I'd go to a reputable music store in the area, and see if they have any used guitars. Check the sound of the strings, make sure that it isn't warped (bowed down in the middle), and that the pegs stay tight.

Depending on your location, I'd look for a Guitar Center near by you they usually sell nice guitars for decent prices or if you like buying stuff online try www.musiciansfriend.com that's where Guitar Center gets their stuff
Hope this helped

No!

And let me ad that "wal-mart" is NOT a music store! Try a pawn shop, take a guitar player with you to help you find something.

Craigslist, I don't know where your location is but they can ship it to you. If you live in the SF bay area, you can probably find a good one
