I wouldnt be so worried. Im 14 weeks pregnant with my first child and i had that too. Its generally your uterus streatching. I still have cramping and the odd sharp pain but remember there is alot of growing going on inside of you. Losing weight in your first trimester is often common. I lost 2 pounds last month and the doctor told me that is prefectly normal. So dont worry unless you start bleeding or spotting, or the pain gets unbarable and lasts or a long time. Than go see your doctor. The only other thing maybe you could be worried about that is quite uncommon is an etopic pregnancy (tubal) but dont worry so much. I know thats easier said than done but depending on your doctor maybe you can go in for an early ultrasound to make sure everything is growing where it should be ect. ect. Congrats and best of luck

I want to be very honest with you. I lost a baby about 5 weeks ago now, however i already have two under 3. I had mild cramping during both of my successful pregnancies and really painful ones at times. Putting it bluntly, it was usually just gas. However, if the pains continue for long periods of time (days) you need to call your doctor. Some OBGYNS can tell you what they are with your just describing them.
You really do need to watch your vaginal secretion though. With my miscarriage i noticed a color change which soon become spotting. If you experience painful cramps and spotting, especially with clots, you need to notify your OBGYN immediately. I hope everything looks up!

If u r cramping then u need to call the doc.
However, I cramped too when I first found out i was pregnant.
The weight loss I have no idea about and would be a good question for your doc.
But, without bleeding or spotting or something like that, I wouldnt worry too much. But, do call the doc to ease your mind.
Good luck to u.

It is possible that it's an early miscarriage. "Really painful" sharp pains are not a good sign. I'm not sure about the rapid weight loss. You shouldn't be losing weight if you're eating a balanced and healthy diet. I would definitely go to your doctors office and get checked out.

Your weight can fluctuate in the beginning due to hormones. Also, when you're pregnant, you'll feel lots of aches and pains and twinges ... some will be sharp ... and you will feel crampy in the beginning too ... kind of like your period is going to start any minute. Have you had your first pre-natal yet? Don't hesitate to call your doctor's office with any concerns you may have. You can speak to the nurses and tell them what's going on. They'll let you know whether it's normal or something you should come in for.

If the cramps get severe followed by heavy bright red blood and lots of clotting than yes, you could be having a miscarriage. It does not sound like your having a miscarriage since you're not having heavy bleeding with clots and bad cramps but i would still give your doctor a call to put your mind at ease.

For everyone the symptoms of pregnancy are different but i have also been cramping since day 1 i went to the hospital yesterday as it was almost crippeling but was givven a u/s and was told everything was ok and that alot of woman get verry bad cramps...They also said that loosing weight was normal as your body is working so hard getting everything perfect it burns of fat.....The cramping could just be you womb and its surroundings stretching to make room....If it continues and there is blood see your doctor as bleeding heavily is not normal....Good luck with the baby

I would tell you to go to the doctors because it could be something wrong if not miscarriage then something with your babies or even your health. You should go asap because you can do something about it the earlier you detect things. It may turn out to be nothing but better safe than sorry. I hope everythings fine though.
