Of all my many animals in my personal zoo, hedgehogs are my favorite! They are my most expensive animal to maintain and care for, they make up a good portion of my veterinary bills and I will always have them.
I do rescue, so most of the hedgies I have now are older, unsocialized, or have health problems. I love the challenge in working with crabby hedgies. Many people around me do not understand my fascination with them, but when I make a breakthrough with one, all of the patience and hard work pays off! :)

Hmm...not sure. I think they are interesting, however, I have never seen any in my local pet stores. Maybe they are not legal where I live?
Oh well...ferrety-ferrets are my love. lol :)

They taste great when broiled but I still can't figure out which type of wine to serve with them. ;)
