actually they have almost everything in place.. They were a strong contender last year just wasn't quite there.. I believe as soon as next year is a good possibility.. They are in a weaker division with the downfall of the dolphins.. I believe NE will top that division again but I honestly feel they are on a down slide now too. Good wild card possibility... Now a Super Bowl contender?? that may take a few years..

2 to 4 years they can get a wild card spot but don't expect a super bowl anytime soon.

Good question...we may never see another team as good as the Kelly/Reed/Thomas/Smith era. A good quarterback would certainly improve the odds ;)
