There is really no way to tell if a person is lying. there is two ways you can go about approaching this. 1: You can ask her, or you can just leave it, and wait until the truth unfolds, if she is a true friend, you will know. trust me.

Depends....on what you think that they are lying about....there are several ways to tell if some one is lying though.
1. If they are always acting as if they have to defend them selves.
2. If they are actin like they are avoiding you.
3. if they avoid questions
4. If they cant look you square in the eye.
5. If they say that they will call you back when you call them and they take forever
but this would be alot easier if I knew whatyou think that your friends lying about. And or if I knew your freind.....no one knows your freind like you. Use your best judgement and try talking to them.

you know that your friend is lying mostly instinctivly. even if you think you don't you can always use the main symptoms- hesitating to answer a specific question- not knowing what to say- catch friend dumping you at certain times- stuff like that. Good luck in finding a good answer=)

The most obvious way to know is when they avoid you. But other ways could be that they act differently or they keep changing the event.
