Ok on the train the seats are attached to the floor and a black person sat down, you are just giving her a little more space.
Perhaps next time look each other in the eye offering a smile of can I help?

Yes, it was QUITE rude. Why would you do that? The only reason to move because someone sat down next to you, is if they have body odor. What if that Black person you moved away from was an Angel?

Well, I kind of want to say EXTREMELY rude, but I dont know why you moved, but I know this for sure, >>ya better watch those brown ones, they might have a you know what on them !! But, it is your choice who you want to sit next to. I guess we all have our own prejudices and biases, but I dont feel its okay to have them and use them to harm others because of them.
I will take black anyday to what I have seen since 9/11, not only that, they have been in our country for many generations ( the black), and I have loved a few friends that are black, and their kids too. Easy on our fellow americans eh ??

Depends on why you moved your seat, for example, if they were wearing a yankees cap, and you like the orioles, then you did what ya had to do! But what if you didn't move and you found out that ya'll had more to talk about than you thought. You never know who you might make a connection with, so I say, be curious, and not discriminating :)

Well if you never offended anyone and nobody looked at you funny or accusingly, nobody got offended and thus it was not rude. But if she/he asked why are you moving and you just walked away, that would be rude.

Why do you keep asking "was that rude?" Everything you do and say is rude. Try getting more creative, you're really losing your touch.

well lets see, u have the answer to that. your asking cause you're unsure, so u hav more than one answer to settle with. u seem quite racist and yearning for popularity, so yes, i would say that was rude. but dont worry somewhere in your blood there's african american descent :)

It depends. If you moved to give a pregnant lady a seat, that wasn't rude.
I hope you didn't fall down, dear.
