Ponyboy felt frustration when he was put down for being a greaser, but took much pride in it at times. He felt his friends were not as fake as the Soc's.

Darry-became the dad and was hurt when his brothers questioned his authority.

Dally-did not want Johnny to go to jail and become hardened like him.

Johnny-felt saving the children and dying was much better than rumbling. He was fearful of dying and wanted to keep going, even if he only had his friends. He wanted Dally to understand what Stay Gold meant.

Sodapop-feels angered by those who keep attacking his brother and their friends, he's hardly fearful.

Cherry-is just a girl who hangs and dates the soc's. She's a rich kid and feels sorry for the greasers, all the while being attracted to them.

sounds like someone has english homework due...its much better for you if you read the book yourself. its not boring or so long, that kind that drags. i think you'll enjoy it. i suggest reading it because you never know when you'll have a pop quiz....i work at an elementary school and specialize in reading, if i feel they haven't done an assignment to its fullest, i have ways of knowing. they taught us this in college, all teachers take this course! your teacher will know if you read or just asked people on the internet!
