Hi I have green-hazel eyes. But if I wear certain things or do my make up a certain way, they look a green-blue. What colors of eye make up should I use to bring out the pretty green blue? And how should I do it?

Also, I like the smoky eye effect. Any way to make my color pop and also get that effect?

Smokey eyes are for evening only, it's too heavy a look for day time (unless you want to be mistaken for half dead! lol).
You can find a color that is a turquoise (more green) and use it as a liner/pencil under your eyes and on your lids. If you use it as shadow, it is too much. I would then put a light color just on your lid by the lashes and a light taupe on the crease. Then finish off with a light color on the brow line. Accent brows too if they are light with a good pencil and brush with a brow brush to make it look natural.

I have the same eye color. I use browns, blacks, and grays. Try to stay away from the white because that makes them look completely green or blue. I wear smokey, but you can also do the same thing with blues. I just subsitute the blacks and grays in the smokey style with blue. Use a really dark blue, a mediun looking blue and a baby or sky blue. It looks really good but takes a few times to get right. I hope this helps!! (P.S. wear a lot of mascara and eyeliner.)

Well if you want to enhance the actual color of your eye, you would want to steer clear of using eyemakeup that matches your eye color, it will just make your eyes seem more dull. So that means don't use blue eyeshadow or liner, or green eyeshadow or liner. Brown brings blue out big time, and Pink/burgundy and some shades of plum will bring the green out. To compliment your eyecolor, you should use colors opposite the color wheel, magenta is opposite of green and orange (brown) is opposite of blue!

Use a smoky-green color. Try those Maybelline 4 color palletes where they tell you where to put each color. It says outer lid, crease, etc on the shadow. Use one with greens as their color and black, or brown.

If you wear blue clothes it should bring out that color in your eyes. Maybe a little sparkly blue shadow. Don't do dark blue though it looks sluty and old fashioned. Do a really light pearly blue.

use black eyeliner. not only ont he bottom of your eyelid, but also on the top. lift the top of your eyelid and apply the penciled eyeliner. loreal eyeliner is awesome. stays on for 16 hours and is waterproof. if u use a blue eyeshadow, ur eyes will look more blue. or you can use a teal. also, use black liquid eyeliner on the top of your eye ( a thin-medium line)
