Hi yes, when she was doing my pelvic exam she was pressing down on my lower abdomion and she looked at me and asked me if i was goin to the bathroom okay, if i was constapaited...(sp) sorry... why would she ask me that, is my stomach have some kinda bump on it or was it to hard that maybe she though my bowls were powled up? or is that a question they always ask?

I think she was just asking questions while she was examining you. Constipation is often a problem associated with pregnancy. I wouldn't worry about it, especially if you aren't having any problems.

I wouldn't worry about it they always ask questions like that but if it is really bothering you call and ask they don't mind a patient taking an active role in their health care.

I was always asked. I think it has to do with whether they feel a hardness or not. If you are still concerned, call and ask her about it. If you feel ok and she didn't find any problems, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm mom to 3.

It is just routine questions they ask. Some women become constipated during pregnancy... I wouldnt worry about it.. As long as you are not having any of these problems then things are fine.....

Were you complaining of pain? It could've been that she felt something but it could've just been a normal question. If you were complaining of pain, it could've been her guess as to why. Constipation is very common pregnant women.

because she felt poo...lol I'm being blunt but it's true....I have IBS and my dr can feel it at times and know if I'm constipated lol. It's normal. Eat right .....fiber is very good for u!

maybe she felt a large amount of stool in your colon
