listened to an patriotic,intelligent,amusing,compassionate man , especially of his standing,and realized that everyone in the room...HUGE crowd....was just as patriotic and wonderful....not a Liberal in sight!! I know i will be bashed by the Liberals on this site. That is their right. I just wanted to say that it was an honor to meet and listen to this man...someone who cares DEEPLY about this wonderful country of ours.

I'm sure that he is a great man but I am so sick of people generalizing about who is a patriot and who is not. I served six years in the Army reserves and many of my friends from my old unit are still serving abroad. Why don't you and some of your "patriot" friends join the Army and put your "patriotism" to the test so my friends can come home. That way some of them might not have to come home in bags because if this bull***t war.

I find it sad that you don't think any liberals are capable of being patriotic, intelligent, or amusing. That seems like a very narrow point of view.

The former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Richard Meyers, was my former boss when I was stationed in Colorado...awesome, awesome man!!
