Dose any one out in TV land think American Idol,should maybe get someone besides old washed up singers to come in and work with these kids as aposed to old motown,come on ,those boys didnt stand a chance.The age limit is 29,so shoudnt the stars ber a little closer to the age of the contestencs.Like at least under 50.

Well, Mick Jagger still brings in mega bucks and he's REALLY old. But yah, good idea. Maybe have 4 judges. 2 younger judges, and 2 older ones. 2 for the young audience, and 2 older stars that have more experience.

Idol brings in people promoting new CD's. Diana Ross has a new one out, as did Prince last year when he was on, as did Barry Manilow - it is great promotional tool for stars, because of the large viewing audience. Plus they think these old stars have a lot to offer.
