Anything you will not do is a boundary. For your own limits or boundaries, ask yourself what you will not do. You should find some very good examples of mental boundaries.
There are many different types of physical boundaries. For instance, the maximum amount of weight you can lift is one type. The walls of a house or room are another type.

Usually "boundaries" are expressed in the negative: don't do this / don't do that. This is so because the major concern is to tell good and evil apart, which is justifiable. However, boundaries are blurry, by nature. Life is not that clearly marked out. My concern is to discern in order to tell what is genuine apart from what is caricature. For instance: one US's president had one his female assistants kiss his private parts. Another US's president kept his private parts for him and his wife, however he lied to his whole nation and launched a terrible war that is sending the whole war into chaos. The former president and the latter one: where would you find a higher degree of honesty? What's more threatening to world peace and freedom: a president whose private parts are kissed by a females who is not his wife, or a president who doesn't attract young females but creates troubles for his country and other countries as well?

Mental Boundaries example: Jesus said in Mathew 5:28 " But I tell you that anyone who looks at a women lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Mental immorality is playing with the devil and without God he eventually wins a corrupted boundary mind. another mental boundary is the capacity to understand and to be ignorant of something un-explainable.
Physical Boundary is limitations of physical abilities or full filling of an immoral act. aka sexual harassment and others easy you can list. hope this helps

Boundaries are similar to comfort zones such as how close to stand to a person when talking. Try it with a friend, stand face to face and get closer and closer to each other until you feel uncomfortable. One of you may feel uncomfortable before the other one does.

Mental Boundaries:
Making moral decisions; or decisions in general that apply to everyday life...
when going through bad experiences; we have to try to avoid hurting ourselves or others when we are experiencing pain (physically as well)...

how far would you go is the real question here.

if i hated someone, i may give them the savage beating of their lives and mabe a broken limb or too. but not kill them

similar to if i cared about someone who was going to do something that i needed to interfere such as a drive-by i would not kill them but if i had to break their arms and legs to stop them i will.

of course regaurdless of who it is i will make sure that medical attention is taken.

why do i not kill? i refuse to end a life of another intentionaly even for money. it is easyer to break limbs to stop them and gets the point across and cuts and bruises heal and bones can mend themselfs back together but i will not kill cause they will not recover from.

There are moral bounderies,spiritual bounderies,sexual-
a moral boundry would be one that prevents a person from going to far in terms of doing something that could be wrong in their eyes or the eyes of their family and friends- sexual boundries work the same way. They are mental "rules" to keep one in line- determined by your upbringing, your level of class in my opinion and your personal beliefs.
