According to this site, it's the Guinness Book of World Records:

Overall, that may be true, but at my locale the most stolen books are books on Wicca or witchcraft, automotive repair, Helter Skelter (the book about Charles Manson), anything on Jim Morrison, and local ghost story books. Anne Rice's are probably up there too.
And I don't know of any library who manages to hang onto The Anarchist's Cookbook or The Satanic Bible. Anything called the Necronomicon usually vanishes as well.

Probably the Bible overall followed closely by the Kama Sutra but in recent years it would have to be The Da Vinci Code.

We lost an awful lot of GED study guides at our library. Other things that people stole were The Joy of Sex (too embarrassed to check it out), baby name books, and witchcraft handbooks.

I think it is Atlas' or books that contain maps. Especially maps to hidden treasure. Those pirates just can't be trusted at public libraries!

Bibles are frequently stolen.
Also "Steal This Book" by Abbie Hoffman. Which is stupid, really. steal it from a bookstore, not from the library.
