Try using the online virus scanner at http://housecall.trendmicro.com. That should pick up the virus so that you can delete it. But you have to do this in safe mode. So reboot the computer as it starts to load hit F8 key. once it activates the safe mode function you than select safe mode with networking so that you can still access the internet. once you have done that, it will ask you to do a system restore or go into safe mode. try going into safe mode first and doing the online virus scan. if that does not pick up the virus than reboot and repeat the safe mode steps, except for this time do a system restore. you want to do a restore that is at least 3 months ago. if you got the problem longer than that than go back further.

hope that helps you

try disabling your network services..

how, try this,

go to start, right click my computer, select manage

go to services and application

all of your services are listed there

click on the status and startup type

disabling what you think is a malicious network service will stop this spyware

then go to windows explorer, go to windows directory, go to temp folder, most of the files needed for this spyware is commonly located in this folder (searching parameters, etc), delete it permanently..

also go to disk clean up delete all files

then dowload this, SPYBOT SEARCH AND DESTROY from download.com

its not an anti virus program, its like HiJackThis only its more advanced and searches ur registry for spyware adware dialers, of course it fixes them by permanently deleting them

you can toggle off/on all of your:

-startup items
-services

you can uninstall all of the programs listed and NOT LISTED

i only use this program and no more freeware anti-virus, spyware that eats up so much memory

this doesnt load up on your startup

Email me and let me know exactly what you experience. My first sense is that a virus has attached itself to the file and is running on it to prevent it from being caught. It may involve editing the registry or finding a specific dll, like i said just email me.

PS: dont email me with the yahoo address. Contact me at dustinh456@gmail.com
